The International Marrakech Marathon
Only a few days before launching ETRA Talent Co-Founder & CEO, Parvyez Salam, joined more than 12,000 runners from all over the world to participate in one of the most prestigious marathons in the world, the Marrakech Marathon to raise an outstanding £10,000k for the Blackstone Charity.
The Blackstone Charity is committed to creating lasting social impact through a holistic approach. From rescuing street kids and providing shelter homes to advancing education and executing vital water projects, their mission is to address diverse needs within communities.
Commenting on the marathon, Parvyez said, "I'm incredibly grateful for the kind contributions made by so many people. It's helped achieve a fantastic amount of money for a worthwhile cause."
The town of Marrakech hosts the marathon every year and is not only a stunning location but is also considered to be one of the fastest circuits in the world.
The TCS London Marathon
Parvyez Salam has signed up to participate in the London Marathon scheduled for Sunday 21st April 2024, aiming to raise funds for The Outrunners.
This charity, based in East London, is dedicated to motivating and empowering young individuals to envision broader horizons beyond their current aspirations. The organisation equips them with valuable experiences and insights to broaden their opportunities after education.
Many of the young people The Outrunners assist have encountered significant challenges growing up, often lacking access to the opportunities essential for their success.
Parvyez has already started his training for this event to make sure he brings in a good time on the day and raises as much as possible for The Outrunners.
The ETRA Talent team is looking forward to supporting him, in his latest charitable endeavour for this worthy cause.
